Alpha Psi Sigma Online Educational Consultation Services
This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") constitutes a legally binding agreement between the undersigned client ("Client") and the educational consultant ("Consultant"). By booking, purchasing, or participating in any consultation session, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
1. Appointment Scheduling and Punctuality
1.1 The Client shall attend each scheduled consultation session at the agreed-upon time.
1.2 In the event that the Client fails to attend the session punctually and is more than five (5) minutes late, the Consultant reserves the absolute and unilateral right to cancel the session without further notice.
1.3 Any session cancelled under Clause 1.2 shall be deemed forfeited by the Client, and no refund or rescheduling shall be provided.
2. Advance Payment and Booking Confirmation
2.1 The Client shall remit a non-refundable advance payment in the amount of twenty dollars (SG $20 for Singapore- and Malaysia-born parents residing in Singapore or Malaysia; US $20 for non-Singapore- and non-Malaysia-born parents residing in Singapore, Malaysia, or any other country) as a condition precedent to the confirmation of any consultation session. This sum of money is used to cover the online goods and services charge, and to compensate the Consultant for the effort he/she invested in online correspondence.
2.2 No consultation session shall be deemed confirmed or reserved until such advance payment has been received in full by the Consultant.
2.3 The advance payment is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, non-attendance, or termination of services.
3. Payment of Remaining Fees
3.1 The Client agrees to pay the remaining balance of the consultation fee within one (1) hour following the conclusion of each consultation session.
3.2 In the event of the Client's failure to remit payment within the stipulated timeframe, the Consultant reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to:
(a) suspend or refuse any future services;
(b) take reasonable measures to recover the outstanding amount; and/or
(c) pursue any remedies available under applicable law.
4. Conduct and Professional Standards
4.1 The Client shall conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and courteous manner at all times during any interaction with the Consultant.
4.2 The Client shall refrain from engaging in any conduct that is inappropriate, abusive, or disruptive, including but not limited to:
(a) the use of offensive, defamatory, or abusive language;
(b) harassment or intimidation;
(c) personal attacks, including ad hominem remarks; or
(d) any behavior that may reasonably be deemed unethical or contrary to accepted standards of civility.
4.3 The Consultant reserves the absolute right to immediately terminate any consultation session, without refund, in the event of a breach of this Clause.
4.4 The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Consultant reserves the full right to report any conduct that is unlawful, threatening, or otherwise actionable to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
5. Reservation of Rights
5.1 The Consultant reserves all rights not expressly granted herein, including the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.
5.2 Continued use of the Consultant's services shall constitute acceptance of any such amendments.
6. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which the Consultant operates.
